Hi, I am Teresa Cummings and I am standing as an Independent Candidate for the seat of Katherine in the 2012 NT Election being held 25 Aug 2012.
I have a chosen to be an independent Candidate so Katherine has Parliamentary representative that makes Katherine a PRIORITY, not third in line after ‘party politics’ and Darwin’ interests.
I believe Katherine deserves capable and dedicated representation. As an Independent I will be completely focused on Katherine’s needs – to enhance and improve the quality of life for all Katherine residents.
I have called Katherine home for more than 20 years and have the wellbeing of this Town firmly in my heart.
Currently working in the private sector since 2009, I have over 20 years experience working for NT and Commonwealth Governments. This ‘hands on’ knowledge coupled with tertiary studies in Public Sector Management, ensures I am well qualified to represent Katherine in Territory politics.
I am keen to use my skills and knowledge to achieve better economic and social outcomes for you and other Katherine locals. But to do this I need your support.
